Day One
There are lots of endangered animals that live in the United States. One of the big cats that is a native to North and South American is the Puma. This big cat is quickly loosing much of its habitat. Read a few quick facts about the Puma and then click on the link to learn more about the Puma and its natural environment.
As you take The Puma Challenge pay special to how the Puma's habitat changes over the years as more human's move into it's habitat.

Day Two
puma narratives
Today you are going to creat your own puma narrative based on the information you learned from taking The Puma Challenge.
- First choose the setting of your puma narrative. Think about how the puma's habitat has changed over time. (500 years ago, 200 years ago and today)
- Pick an obstical from the time period in the Puma's history that you choose. Example: 500 years ago Puma's might have ran into a Chumash Indain.
- You must show in your narrative how that challenge affected the puma's habitat.
